High Alumina Bricks Manufacturer in China

High alumina bricks cover a broad family of alumina-silica refractories. The appropriate grade is confirmed from the required chemistry, load, temperature, atmosphere and wear mechanism—not alumina content alone.

MATERIAL / APPLICATION

Grade selection begins with process conditions.

Typical applications

Where these materials are used

  • Steel reheating and heat-treatment furnaces
  • Cement, lime and calcination equipment
  • Industrial kiln working and safety linings
  • High-temperature zones requiring shaped refractories

Selection factors

What to confirm

  • Specified alumina and impurity limits
  • Hot strength and load-bearing requirement
  • Thermal cycling and spalling exposure
  • Standard, special and drawing-based shapes

Final material selection requires a review of operating conditions and project specifications.

Procurement FAQ

Questions buyers often ask

Are higher-alumina bricks always better?+

No. Chemistry must be balanced with thermal shock, hot load, corrosion, joints and cost. A higher alumina figure alone does not guarantee longer service.

Can high alumina bricks be made to drawings?+

Special shapes can be reviewed when drawings, tolerances, quantities and tooling expectations are supplied.

Which test data should be requested?+

Confirm the contract specification first. Common requirements may include chemistry, bulk density, apparent porosity, cold crushing strength and refractoriness under load.
