Low-Cement Refractory Castable Supplier in China

Low-cement castables can provide dense, high-strength linings when water addition, mixing, placement, curing and dry-out are tightly controlled.

MATERIAL / APPLICATION

Grade selection begins with process conditions.

Typical applications

Where these materials are used

  • Kiln hoods, coolers and preheater areas
  • Furnace walls, roofs and burner blocks
  • Ladle and tundish permanent linings
  • Abrasion-prone process equipment

Selection factors

What to confirm

  • Aggregate and matrix chemistry
  • Installation water and flow requirement
  • Curing and dry-out constraints
  • Abrasion, corrosion and thermal cycling

Final material selection requires a review of operating conditions and project specifications.

Procurement FAQ

Questions buyers often ask

Why must water addition be controlled?+

Excess or inconsistent water can alter placement, porosity, strength and dry-out behavior. Follow the confirmed product instructions.

Can low-cement castable be pumped?+

Only formulations and projects designed for pumping should be handled that way. Distance, hose, mixer, flow and placement rate must be reviewed.

Do you provide a universal dry-out curve?+

No. Dry-out must be set for the product, lining thickness, anchors, geometry, curing history and equipment constraints.
